I am researching information on my good friend James W. Spivey, who was killed in action in Quang Nam on Jan. 21, 1969, along with six other men. This is all of the information that I have on him. I am hoping to find someone who may have served with him and may possibly have details surrounding his death. Jim lived in Ft. Meade, Fl. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Reply

Helping my Dad reconnect with fellow Marines. He is Lcpl Pedro Verduzco, he recognizes several Marines from the cruise book. If you remember him please reply. Thanks Reply

Was with 1/5 from 7/1969 to 7/1970. Spent time (8 + months with "A" as the 1/4 Radio Operator. I replace Jordan During my time with Alpha, Capt. Heilig was CO and GySgt Behrend was Co GySgt. Later in my career, ran into SgtMaj Behrend in Okinawa and I was then the GySgt. I think Capt Heilig is now an attorney in Virginia. I also remember Lt. Winsted, Cpl Hogue, and a few others. Reply

This page brought back some memories. I came across the page while doing research for a book I'm writing. I saw some faces I haven't seen in a long time. Well done. Reply
